The first Infineum model to be launched by the end of February is the Infineum Extreme powered bike. Truly innovative, the British designed Infineum Extreme represents a major progression in power assisted cycling and achieves greater distances as a result of the unique Infineum LPX stackable battery system. Infineum’s LPX battery is lightweight and uses a high density lithium polymer technology with the ideal characteristics for a powered bicycle. The lightweight stackable battery is simply slotted into the dedicated Infineum rear rack and, if required, further batteries can be stacked neatly on top of each other to discharge in parallel, allowing you more freedom! A single battery has the potential to deliver around 25 - 30 miles of power assisted cycling and new batteries added to the stack will each increase the range of an electric cycle by an additional 25 - 30 miles. This means that the freedom opened up to leisure enthusiasts, commuters, and general cyclists is both impressive and a breath of fresh air. The launch model of the Infineum Extreme is a male style framed bike but there will be more models added to the range, including a ladies style frame and electric folding bike models.
